There are debate parties throughout NYC tonight, and we encourage you to watch locally. LGBTQ visibility at local Democratic clubs is crucial! You can find a list of events here. (Don't see an event locally? Reach out to your District Leaders and County Organizations and tell them: Local engagement in 2019 is how we win in 2020!)
SDNYC will also host an online watch party via the NY Times Facebook platform from which the debate will be live streamed. With a Facebook Watch Party, participants can watch the candidates and interact with one another in the same moment, all from the comfort of your sofa, bed, or wherever you may be!

On October 23rd at 8pm at the The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, Stonewall Democratic Club of New York City | SDNYC will hold our monthly meeting.
SDNYC Members will be called upon to vote to endorse:
- Candidates running for NY-15 Congressional District
- NYC Charter Revisions
The primary for NY-15 has brought out a large field of candidates and the Board of SDNYC has determined the race to be of special interest and warranting of an early endorsement.

Eligibility to Vote at this meeting:
- Individuals who have been dues paying members of SDNYC in 2018 or 2017, are eligible to vote so long as they have paid the Club's 2019 dues before casting their ballot (payment can submitted online or in person at an endorsement meeting).
- Individuals who were not dues paying members of SDNYC in 2018 or 2017, must have paid the Club's 2019 membership dues on or before October 7.
We'll also have brief community updates, including a look at the coming political/legislative calendar, and more.
