2020 Elections: Information for Members and Candidates
For 34 years the Stonewall Democratic Club of NYC has played an important part in municipal, state, and federal elections. New York City will be going to the polls again in 2020. In April we will vote for our candidate for President and in June we will vote for candidates for Congress and the New York State Legislature. In March, Queens will select a new Borough President in a Special Election. SDNYC will once again:
Question candidates on issues important to the LGBTQ Community.

Support our endorsed candidates in the primaries.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, SDNYC members voted to endorse Costa Constantinides for Queens Borough President.
*Membership has already voted on one race, NY-15. As it is a crowded race with one candidate being a known homophobe with institutional support, the club endorsed early in October 2019 for Ritchie Torres.
